Böttcher understands the importance of using proper chemicals on your presses and printing rollers for fountain solutions and cleaning. Often, when our technical advisors are called in to a customer to diagnose what they suspect is a roller problem, the problem is really the result of using the wrong chemicals, or using chemicals in the wrong way.

We are so concerned about chemicals, we have had our labs test all of the common press chemicals. Chemicals that work well with Böttcher compounds we label “Böttcher Approved.” We also give advice for optimum formulations. We will be glad to test for our customers any new or unknown chemicals that are not on the list. Contact your technical service representative.

The easiest way to ensure you are using the right chemicals with your Böttcher rollers is to use our Böttcher-brand chemicals. The best-selling FEBO Cleaner 2000 roller cleaner paste is the most effective way to remove buildup of insolubles and calcium deposits from rollers. Currently Press Chemicals can not be order online.
